Coeliac disease is a significant medical condition that frequently develops in childhood. It is estimated that about 1 in 70 Australian children have coeliac disease, but an alarming 80% of them are undiagnosed. If undiagnosed, there is a significant risk of life-long health complications.

If your child displays symptoms like tiredness, mouth ulcers, gastrointestinal issues, iron deficiency, poor weight gain, dental problems, or recent behavioural or emotional changes, please consult with your GP about screening for Coeliac Disease.

Coeliac Australia Awareness Campaign

Coeliac Australia's Awareness Campaign highlights the importance of testing for Coeliac Disease in children. This years campaign has started and will culminate with a day of celebration on International Coeliac Day, 16 May 2023.

As an accredited partner of Coeliac Australia, we want to help shine a light for our Little Coeliacs so they can have better futures. What better way to put a smile on the faces of our Little Coeliacs than with free GF treats!

Gluten Free Giveaway for Little Coeliacs

We are giving away a free* Mob Wife or Henchmen Cookie for anyone aged 18 or under who has been diagnosed as a Coeliac.

To claim your Mob Wife or Henchmen Cookie, all you need to do is come in to our Northcote Store and fill in a quick survey between now and Tuesday 16th May with your Little Coeliac so they can receive the treat in person.
