Dandenong Market Shop Closing

Our last day of trading at Dandenong Market will be Tuesday 30 June 2026.

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Dandenong Market shop for good.

Dandenong Market has been such a special part of the Butter Mafia story. It gave us the chance to meet so many of you face to face, fill choux pastries fresh for you, grill toasties, hear your stories, and become part of your weekly routines.

To every single person who visited us there, told a friend about us, brought your family in, travelled across Melbourne, came back week after week, or trusted us with your gluten free food — thank you.

Visit us before we close

Until our final day, you can still visit our Dandenong Market shop for 100% gluten free desserts, cookies, choux pastries, toasted sandwiches and weekly specials.

We would love to see you before we close the doors for the last time.

What happens next?

After Dandenong closes, Butter Mafia will continue trading from Northcote only for the near future.

At Northcote, we’ll be focusing more on the gluten free food you can come back for every week — savoury muffins, comforting bakery staples, and the everyday things that make life easier when good gluten free food is hard to find.

We’ll share more details soon, including what will be available from Northcote and how you can get your gluten free favourites after Dandenong closes.
