Mother's Day Ltd. Ed. Gluten Free Cake "The Queen"

Heavenly Layers of Gluten Free Deliciousness - Coconut Dacquoise, Blackberry Coulis & Blackberry Buttercream

The Queen was made to make Mum's day!

We wanted a lighter texture different to all our decadent bars while still being full of flavour and deliciousness.

The Queen is made 3 different element and built up layer by layer - starting with a light and airy coconut dacquoise (like a coconut meringue) base. This layer is then brushed with slightly tart organic house made blackberry coulis and then topped with a layer of fluffy pillowy Blackberry Italian Meringue Buttercream. This is then repeated 6 times for a total of 18 layers of deliciousness in this cake (9 layers for cake bars).

Each bite gives you a burst of fruity flavour from the naturally sweet (low added sugar) blackberry jam, a light creaminess from the blackberry Italian Meringue Buttercream and a slight chew and beautiful crumb from the Coconut Dacquoise. This luscious cake was made with our focus for the year in mind - to use less sugar and we have used less sugar than traditional recipes for each element while still being tasty and flavourful. Mum will LOVE The Queen!

The Queen is only available from Wednesday 8th May through to Sunday 12th May in limited quantities so orders early to avoid disappointment.
